The Interview goes for the money shot in a final red band trailer

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

THE INTERVIEW has hit Digital HD in one of the most unique film premieres of all time. Thanks to a major media push due to the Sony hacking scandal and threats of terrorism, the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy was able to gross just under $20 million via a limited theatrical and on demand release. Now, the push will come to try and make more money from the folks on the fence about seeing the movie.

To try and convince those remaining people, Sony has unveiled a new red band trailer touting the film’s availability online by giving us some of the funnier scenes from the film not yet showcased in a trailer or TV spot. Now, you can enjoy references to Seth Rogen‘s nipples, gum that tastes like shit, handjob double entendres, and James Franco‘s boner.

THE INTERVIEW is never going to be the political bombshell everyone thought it would be, but that doesn’t mean dick and fart jokes aren’t funny. Hell, there are a couple of exploding skulls in this movie that had me in stitches. So, if you haven’t already, check out THE INTERVIEW.
