The Morning Show trailer reveals full look at Apple’s new series

After releasing a vague, voiceover-heavy teaser last week, Apple has finally debuted the first full trailer for their first major streaming series – THE MORNING SHOW. The series means to launch the tech company’s own streaming service and perhaps establish them as a leading player in the streaming game, and the trailer itself teases a star-studded show filled with drama, humor, and insights into the morning news game.

The story is primarily focused on Jennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy, a trusted host of “The Morning Show”, whom one person behind the scenes (Billy Crudup) thinks is due for a replacement, and Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson, an up-and-coming name in the game with a fresh perspective. At the start of things we see Steve Carell’s Mitch Kessler fired from the show for…reasons, it seems, so there will be plenty of behind-the-scenes conflicts and fits of rage that make for that sweet, sweet binge viewing.

Also starring Billy Crudup, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bel Powley, and Mark Duplass, you wouldn't be confused to discover this was a series and not a movie. The trailer certainly plays like a movie, teasing a central conflict between people working at a morning show, what seems like a conclusion with Aniston in the board room, and the typical "Here's who's starring in this thing" slideshow. But, show or movie, this project looks thoroughly entertaining, sporting a great cast and a timely premise. But is it enough to get me to sign up? Ask me if the price of the latest Apple TV starts to fall.
