It's been announced today that The Orchard, an American music and entertainment company founded in 1997 by Richard Gottehrer and Scott Cohen, wholly owned by Sony Music Entertainment and based in New York City, has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to an action-comedy satire entitled ESPIONAGE TONIGHT.

The film boasts an ensemble starring cast comprised of Joe Hursley, Saïd Taghmaoui, Sean Astin and Lynn Whitfield, and centers on a TV reality show created by the U.S. government in which real world spies compete in undercover missions around the world with the lines between reality, propaganda and fiction blurring.

The film is directed and written by Rob Gordon Bralver and produced by Amy Child. Rounding out the cast of the film will be actors Greg Davis, Jr., Alexie Gilmore, Ganna Bogdan, Fernanda Romero, Chasty Ballesteros and Joseph Gatt.

In commenting on his enthusiasm for the film, Bravler stated that, “We are so happy to work with The Orchard on the release of ‘Espionage Tonight! In today’s surreal and fast-moving political climate, this film is more timely than ever. We now have an ideal partner in the industry to connect our film with audiences around the world.”

The Orchard plans to bring ESPIONAGE TONIGHT to digital and on-demand services in North America come this October 24th.
