The prince of darkness reveals himself in this clip and trailer from God Bless Ozzy Osbourne

Metal heads new and old know Ozzy Osbourne. Growing up, the sounds of Black Sabbath and solo Ozzy were blasted through my house on a regular basis. When THE OSBOURNES debut on MTV, I was compelled to watch it. After awhile it did become a bit much, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for the little guy whom I could now barely understand.

So I was obviously intrigued by the documentary, GOD BLESS OZZY OSBOURNE. It was directed by Mike Fleiss and Jack Osbourne. Yesterday the doc premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. A trailer is out and it’s basically the lead up before the big show. The clip on the other hand is a little more in-depth on Ozzy’s parenting skills with his first two children, Jessica and Louis. Check both out below.

“Ozzy Osbournes’ four-decade track record as a culturally relevant artist is unprecented, but his personal struggles have been shrouded in myth and secrecy. Featuring never-before seen footage uncovered from the archives and interviews with Paul McCartney, Tommy Lee and others, God Bless Ozzy Osbourne is the first documentary to take viewers inside the complex mind of Rock’s great icon. Emerging from a working class family in war-torn England, Osbourne and his neighborhood friends formed Black Sabbath and invented heavy metal. Plagued by self-doubt, Osbourne the solo superstar went on an epic binge that lasted 40 years. God Bless Ozzy Osbourne will relive the highs of his artistic triumphs as well as his fraught journey to sobriety, which Ozzy regards as his greatest accomplishment.”
