Our time in Panem is short. In fact, we’ll be wrapping up our time with the Districts in November with a trip to The Capitol as THE HUNGER GAMES comes to a close with MOCKINGJAY – PART 2.
But, for fans who started all the way back with reading words off the pages of Suzanne Collins’ novels, their long-standing devotion to Katniss Everdeen and her fight against the establishment may never end. That’s why Lionsgate chose to celebrate their fandom today, commemorating the five-year anniversary of the release of Collins first book in the series. Fans were encouraged to tap away at a map of The Capitol in the hopes of reveling a new “Fallen Snow” banner for the finale.
11,202,015 clicks came in, and this is the result.
By heading over to the new micro-site, you can check out the banner in much greater detail, scrolling around and zooming in (all the good things growing boys and girls need) until you decide you have something else to do with your time.
