Ever since a stylish behind-the-scenes featurette for James Gunn's THE SUICIDE SQUAD debuted at DC Fandome earlier this year, fans have been eager to catch another glimpse of the upcoming superhero film's eclectic cast. Thankfully, Empire has arrived on the scene with a brand-new cover for its December 2020 issue, featuring many of the movie's wacky players and fresh faces.

As you can see from the images posted below, both contain members of the squad, as well as the film's director, James Gunn, getting cozy with several characters who probably won't live through the experience of his upcoming adventure. On sale Thursday, October 29, the new issue promises to feature brand-new images from the film, as well as behind-the-scenes pics, and a world-first interview with Gunn himself –  talking about the winding road that brought him to DC, how The Suicide Squad helped him rediscover the filmmaker he wanted to be, reconnecting with Marvel, and why his new film will be unlike anything audiences have ever seen before.
