Margot Robbie had Harley Quinn fans a little worried when she previously stated that she didn't know when she would play the character again because she needed a little break from the role. The actress has appeared as the popular character in Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, and tomorrow's release of The Suicide Squad. Despite her earlier comments about needing a break, it appears that Robbie has had a change of heart.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Robbie was asked about her intended break from playing Harley Quinn, and here is what she had to say about the matter:

"No, I've had enough of a break. I'm ready to do her again. I did Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad back-to-back, so that was a lot of Harley all in a one-year period, but that was a while ago now. I'm always ready for more Harley!"

Margot Robbie's DCEU future could be an interesting one. The actress has made three movies so far but all of them have very little interaction with each other. The Suicide Squad doesn't really serve as a sequel to 2016's Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey, which had a slight connection to the 2016 film, was mostly intended to spin off into its own thing. Robbie is probably one of the more talented and popular actresses of her generation right now so I would assume that they would want to keep her in the DCEU fold as long as they can.

Robbie has been the most vocal about Harley Quinn linking up with Poison Ivy. The actress previously said, "Trust me, I chew their ear off about it all the time. They must be sick of hearing it, but I'm like, 'Poison Ivy, Poison Ivy. Come on, let's do it.' I'm very keen to see a Harley-Poison Ivy relationship on screen. It'd be so fun. So I'll keep pestering them. Don't worry."

Director James Gunn previously teased back in February that he would want to work with Robbie's Harley Quinn again. A fan asked him on Instagram if he would be working with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in the future and Gunn replied, "Margot and I discussed this just the other day. We will have to see what happens!" Robbie also recently heaped praise on her The Suicide Squad director by saying, "Even if this movie wasn't as incredible as it is, it's still worth going to the theater just because it's so nice to be able to go to a movie theater again…But it just so happens that this is arguably one of the greatest, if not the greatest comic book film ever made. You don't want to miss it!"
