The final trailer for The Tomorrow War has been released and it gives us another look at Chris Pratt traveling into the future to save today's Earth.

Per the film's official synopsis, "In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet." Directed by Chris McKay, in his live-action directorial debut, the film also stars Betty Gilpin, Keith Powers, Mike Mitchell, and Sam Richardson.

The Tomorrow War was originally scheduled for release on December 25, 2020, but it was pulled from the schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was later rescheduled for July 23, 2021, taking the release date of Mission: Impossible 7, but it was pulled from the schedule once again. In January of this year, Amazon Studios entered talks to acquire the film for a reported $200 million. The deal was solidified when Amazon announced that the film will now hit Prime Video on July 2, 2021.
