Trailer for Steven Soderbergh's thriller Side Effects starring Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, and Jude Law hits

The first trailer for Steven Soderbergh's thriller SIDE EFFECTS has hit, featuring Rooney Mara as a woman who turns to prescription drugs to cope with her husband's (Channing Tatum) release from prison.  Naturally, things get crazy, spinning a web of murder, mystery, and deception.  The pic also stars Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Have a look:

TRAILER REMOVED AT THE REQUEST OF James Saul from Tadeka Pharmaceuticals.

It looks interesting enough and I'm a fan of Mara's, especially after THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, but this looks very A&E to me.  It doesn't feel like the smooth cool that usually comes with a Soderbergh film.  Personally, I really enjoyed his last film, HAYWIRE, which I think is a vastly underrated flick although I've yet to see MAGIC MIKE (and I'm not in a hurry to, either).  Good cast, for sure, and it looks like it could be fun, but is it worth a trip to the theater?  You decide.

SIDE EFFECTS opens on February 8, 2013.

Extra Tidbit: The Girl Who Played With Fire. Fingers crossed to see Rooney back in the role of Lizbeth.
