Hollywood insider films are always tricky because unless you have at least a cursory knowledge of the soul crushing reality of “the business”, you’re just gonna be all “oooh, rich people whining to other rich people about how terrible it is to be so rich”. But if it’s funny, who gives a shit, right?
Well, that seems to be the case for the upcoming WHAT JUST HAPPENED? Based on uber producer Art Linson’s book of the same name in which he details his real life soul crushing Hollywood experiences, the film stars Robert DeNiro as a Linson-like character as he navigates the soul crushing waters of Hollywood.
