Come April 11th (only a week before my birthday!), fans and worshipers of HBO’s “The Wire” and “Generation Kill” will finally have their thirst for incredible and thought-provoking television sated. Yes, ‘Treme’ is finally almost here!
The new drama series comes from David Simon, creator of “The Wire”, a show that should surely top any and all Best of the Decade lists when it comes to television. “Treme” follows the lives of musicians and others of the Treme district in the city of New Orleans post-Hurricane Katrina, examining a city in ruin and its struggle to rebuild.
