What an incredibly inventive title!
Relativity Media just announced the name of its long-untitled SNOW WHITE project, and it’s simply MIRROR, MIRROR. Their SNOW WHITE film is the one directed by Tarsem Singh (THE CELL) and starring Lily Collins, Julia Roberts and Sean Bean- not the upcoming SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN that stars Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, respectivbely. MIRROR, MIRROR’s the one with Nathan Lane as comic relief, HUNTSMAN has Kristen Stewart wearing armor. Don’t get mixed up!
The synopsis of this one- The newly titled film MIRROR, MIRROR, stars breakout star Lily Collins (THE BLIND SIDE) as an exiled princess who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright and Oscar®-winner Julia Roberts as an evil Queen who steals control of a kingdom, in a magical adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer (THE SOCIAL NETWORK) as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane (THE BIRDCAGE) as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.
MIRROR, MIRROR is set for a release on March 16th, 2012. SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN opens June 1st. Choose wisely- or maybe don’t choose one at all.
