WandaVision, cameo, Paul Bettany, Vision

MAJOR SPOILERS for WandaVision. Consider yourself warned. In just a few hours, the final episode of WandaVision will be unleashed, bringing the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series to an end. Questions will be answered and mysteries will be solved, at least we hope so, but Paul Bettany has revealed one piece of information a little early.

Not too long after WandaVision debuted in January, Paul Bettany teased that there would be a secret cameo in the series which would find him "working with this actor that I've always wanted to work with." Bettany added that "they have fireworks together" and "the scenes are pretty intense." This got fans theorizing on who this mystery person could be, but last week's episode offered a very big clue, which Paul Bettany confirmed while speaking with Good Morning America earlier today.

In a mid-credits scene in last week's episode of WandaVision, it was revealed that S.W.O.R.D. honcho Hayward had built a new android using Vision's remains that he was able to bring online using Wanda's powers. This "White Vision" will likely be share a scene or two with the Vision of the Hex, which means that Paul Bettany was having a little fun with us all along and the actor he always wanted to work with was…himself. I love it.

Yeah, you know when you think something's gonna be funny, and you say it, and then you actually panic about it? [That's] what I did because fans started guessing who it might be, and they were guessing people like Benedict Cumberbatch or Patrick Stewart, and I was thinking, 'God, that's a good idea' and they're gonna be so disappointed when they find out it's me.

When asked it he was just trolling everyone once again, Paul Bettany faked technical difficulties to get out of answering the question. The final episode of WandaVision will officially launch tomorrow.
