Warcraft director Duncan Jones shares a few behind-the-scenes photos

As I've never played any of the various installments of Warcraft, I am not very familiar with what it's all about; I know there are Orcs, I know there are humans, and I know whatever else I gleaned from that episode of South Park, so when the first trailer for Duncan Jones' WARCRAFT debuted, it felt like a confusing mess of computer-generated craziness. That said, I am still very interested in how WARCRAFT will turn out, mostly because of Duncan Jones at the helm. Speaking of Jones, the director has begun sharing several behind-the-scenes photos from WARCRAFT now that he's legally able to do so, and believe it or not, they feature some physical sets, and some very cool ones at that.

Much like I was with DEADPOOL, I'm very curious to see how WARCRAFT will be recieved upon its release. The games obviously have a great many fans, but that doesn't always translate into box-office bucks and successful videogame-to-film adaptations don't come by very often. Fingers crossed I suppose. WARCRAFT stars Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, and Clancy Brown.

A synopsis for WARCRAFT:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

WARCRAFT is set for a June 10, 2016 release.
