My article title lends itself to some disturbing imagery, doesn’t it? But it was asking for it.
Warner Brothers are after Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart for a comedy called GET HARD.
The film will be scripted by Ian Roberts and Jay Martel, who are currently executive producers and showrunners for KEY & PEELE. GET HARD will star Ferrell as, “a rich, soft-handed investment bank manager is sentenced to a maximum security prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He hires the streetwise guy who normally washes his car to get him ready to do hard time in the 30 days before he has to report to prison.”
If you haven’t caught any of Hart’s stand-up, I suggest you do so. He’s one of the funnier, more energetic comedians around. Ferrell is currently filming on ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES. Hart’s last film was THINK LIKE A MAN.
