What did you think of...Edge of Tomorrow?

Tom Cruise is back in theaters today with yet another sci-fi action yarn in EDGE OF TOMORROW, the groundhog day-esque flick co-starring Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton. Directed by Doug Liman and based on the novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka the tale finds Cruise playing an inexperienced soldier in a war with alien invaders who relives each day of a major battle, teaming up with Blunt's hard ass warrior to improve his skills as he does. It's a fun premise and thus far the trailers, TV spots, featurettes, and posters have shown a lot of promise for what looks to be a solid, if not outstanding, summer popcorn movie. Our own Chris Bumbray gave the film a 8/10, calling it "...an incredibly slick, entertaining ride." Also, don't forget to check out Bumbray's feature on Cruise from earlier this week and check out or Top Ten Favorite Tom Cruise performances video countdown right here!

Now that you've (re)lived the experience for yourself, we want to hear what YOU thought of it! You can POST YOUR OWN REVIEW of the film in the below strikebacks or on your own Movie Fan Central profile. Did Cruise nail it again or did he fall short this time? Let's hear it! We'll continue to update the Rotten Tomatoes and MFC scores throughout the weekend and see if Cruise can beat the teenage romance crowd.

Rotten Tomatoes: 206 reviews, avg score: 89%
Movie Fan Central: 7 reviews, avg score: 8.3/10
