Will Peggy Olson be back for season six of Mad Men?

If you are not caught up on MAD MEN, then you might want to choose a different article. I thought the title might be a little risky, but I don’t think it hurts anything.

While I am happy to have BREAKING BAD back on, I miss watching the drama unfold at Sterling Cooper. Season five was a good one, and took the show in a slightly different direction. Usually a person starts a show from the very beginning– I took it upon myself to start from the most recent. I couldn’t stop watching. I had to know what happened on the next episode. Of course when it was over, I went back to season one. Thank glob, Netflix has the entire series on instant.

Some crazy things happened last season. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. The most notable was the passing of a character that I personally loved who rather quickly went down a descending spiral of cover ups and lies. Only to go so tragically as a means to bring an end to it all. Lane, you will be missed.

Another character that moved on was Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss), not because she died, but because she landed herself a better job at rival agency, Cutler Gleason and Chaough. After the finale, this left viewers wondering if there was still a place for the character on the show. Creator Matthew Weiner says that she, “is going to be on the show next year. I can’t say how much, in what capacity or what [her story] is going to be, but she has not left the show.” He continued, “When people leave Sterling Cooper, sometimes it is the end for [the character]. But I will spoil that one tiny piece of anticipation and tell people that Elisabeth will be showing up to work.”

Weiner gave no other insight on the next season. Although he did say that there will be a season seven, and Jon Hamm was definitely signed on along with himself.

What was your favorite moment of last season? Also, could Glen be any creepier?
