Motor mouthed, furry man-beast Robin Williams is in talks to join Dermot Mulroney, Adam Goldberg, Bradley Cooper, Ed Burns and Oliver Platt in the Michael Corrente directed and Steven Soderbergh presented political biopic THE PRINCE OF PROVIDENCE. Based on Michael Stanton’s book of the same name, the story follows Vincent “Buddy” Cianci Williams’ (Platt) twenty-one year tenure as mayor of Providence, R.I. The script comes from David Mamet so we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one. Williams’ participation will depend on the resolution of some potential scheduling conflicts. HE can next be seen in the comedy OLD DOGS and the family comedy THE KRAZEES.
