Without Remorse trailer: Michael B. Jordan is a one-man wrecking crew

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Do you know what this Tuesday could use? How about a trailer with tons of explosions, shadowy government shenanigans, and Michael B. Jordan looking jacked as all get out? I submit for your entertainment a new trailer for Without Remorse, coming to Amazon Prime Video on April 30th.

Directed by Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) and based on the 1993 Tom Clancy novel of the same name, Without Remorse is a spin-off of the Jack Ryan film series. Focusing on the Navy SEAL John Clark, the film finds Michael B. Jordan at the heart of an international conspiracy while looking to avenge the murder of his wife. As you can see from the trailer posted above, Jordan is in top form for the role, and ain't nothin' gonna stop him from putting those responsible for his pain in the ground or behind bars.

Here's the official synopsis for Without Remorse:

An elite Navy SEAL uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, the explosive origin story of action hero John Clark – one of the most popular characters in author Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan universe. When a squad of Russian soldiers kills his family in retaliation for his role in a top-secret op, Sr. Chief John Kelly (Michael B. Jordan) pursues the assassins at all costs. Joining forces with a fellow SEAL (Jodie Turner-Smith) and a shadowy CIA agent (Jamie Bell), Kelly’s mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war. Torn between personal honor and loyalty to his country, Kelly must fight his enemies without remorse if he hopes to avert disaster and reveal the powerful figures behind the conspiracy.

Joining Jordan for this pulse-pounding action thriller are Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Guy Pearce, and comedian Brett Gelman, who you might recognize as the conspiracy theorist and bathrobe enthusiast Murray Bauman from Stranger Things. Others set to star in the film include Lauren London, Jacob Scipio, Jack Kesy, Colman Domingo, Todd Lassance, Cam Gigandet, and Luke Mitchell.

Without Remorse is written by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples, with Akiva Goldsman, Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, and Michael B. Jordan serving as producers. Executive producers are Denis Stewart, Alana Mayo, Greg Lessans, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger.

Well, I know what I'll be watching on April 30th. After all, who doesn't like a little political intrigue during an ongoing pandemic?
