Woody Woodpecker trailer gets recut to look like a horror film

On Wednesday, we exclusively unleashed the trailer for the live-action WOODY WOODPECKER movie upon the world (you're welcome), which has since become the subject of much talk around the net. Wait, what? I'm serious, have you watched it yet? Here, why not take a gander at the trailer for yourself, and see why it might be giving people nightmares:

Now do you understand? That red and blue bird is an absolute terror, and apparently, I'm not the only person who things so. Today, Screencrush has unveiled their own version of the trailer, which they've recut to look like a tried-and-true horror film. It's truly inspired stuff, to be sure.

You can see the horror-inspired version of the trailer below:

Timothy Omundson, Thaila Ayala, and Eric Bauza star in the forest turf war with one of animation's history's most unhinged characters of the avian variety.
