Young Justice: Outsiders confirmed for late 2018 release

It's been a hot minute since we've received an update regarding the much-anticipated third season of the animated TV series YOUNG JUSTICE. Thankfully, the show's producer, Greg Weisman, has stated that the show will make its return during the fourth quarter of 2018.

Weisman revealed the release window when a fan of the action-packed animated series asked him about the show's return on Twitter. Weisman responded to the inquiry by posting the following tweet:

Back in 2013, the cancellation of YOUNG JUSTICE was met with a substantial amount of outrage by fans and creators alike. In my opinion, YOUNG JUSTICE was one of the best superhero-related animated programs on at that time, and the powers that be were fools to have sent it packing. The show only lasted two seasons, before ending its run with a fantastic portrayal of the "Invasion" storyline.

When YOUNG JUSTICE makes its return for a third season, it will presented as a part of the WB's DC-related streaming service alongside the forthcoming live-action TITANS series. For YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS, the show will find the teen heroes facing their greatest challenge as they fight meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.
