Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Exclusive interviews w/ Zack & Deborah Snyder

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So, I'll admit – I was skeptical about the Snyder Cut of Justice League ever happening. In fact, when it was announced I was still skeptical, especially when I hear that the movie would run an insane four hours long. That in mind, when I finally sat down to watch it my jaw was on the floor throughout. I didn't just like Zack Snyder's Justice LeagueI full on loved it. Yet, it still left me with some questions, namely how did Snyder ever expect to fit all of this into a studio-mandated two hour cut. Luckily, I had the chance to briefly chat with the man himself in the run up to the HBO Max release, and one of the first questions I had was about the running time, on which he quickly set me straight. It turns out, Snyder was never expected to deliver a two hour movie at all. Check out the interview for the full scoop.

I also had the honor to walk to Deborah Snyder, who's Zack's creative partner (and life partner to boot) who gave me the scoop on who approached who about making this cut a reality, and whether or not the on-going pandemic played a part.
