New international trailer for Tarantino’s Django Unchained is bloody goodness

Sony has released a new international trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s “Southern” DJANGO UNCHAINED and it’s a much bloodier affair than any that have come before it.  It also feels the most commercial, minus the blood of course, for a Tarantino flick.  All in all, I think this is my favorite one to date.  It’s shorter, refined, and, well, I’m a sucker for some bloody head shots.  Plus, we get our first look at Walton Goggins, who is one of my favorite character actors working today.  His recent stint on Sons of Anarchy was…disturbingly awesome.

Django!:

I think this pic is king of a foregone conclusion to most; we’re all going to see it (although, I’m positive there are some hold-outs).  Tarantino has a very strange built-in audience who will typically flock to anything that has his name in big letters, even if he didn’t direct it.  Personally, I’m hoping for more KILL BILL than INGLORIOUS BASTERDS for DJANGO UNCHAINED, but it’s looking to be more of a hybrid.  We’ll see.

Starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Johnson, Walton Goggins, and Jonah Hill, DJANGO UNCHAINED unleashes on December 25, 2012.
