Obsession becomes O’Sullivan

Screen Daily announces that BAFTA-nominated director Thaddeus O’Sullivan (ORDINARY DECENT CRIMINAL) will direct OBSESSION, which is a remake of the 1947 film THE HIDDEN ROOM. Both projects were inspired by the Alec Coppel novel A MAN ABOUT A DOG. Rob Green (HOUSE) is writing the screenplay.

OBSESSION is about a man who plots fiendish revenge against his wife’s lover, and a dog’s attempts to thwart him. Sounds pretty kooky and fun – Hitchcock might’ve had a good time with this material…

Shooting will take place in Detroit and New York this summer. No word yet on who is playing the dog.
