Original The Shape actor Nick Castle returns in Blumhouse’s Halloween

The last word we brought you about Blumhouse's upcoming sequel to John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN was when we let you know that co-writer Danny McBride said the sequel would be bringing back the dread and the "creep factor" from Carpenter's classic. Good stuff!

Today we have news via our buddies over at B-D that original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle will be returning to play The Shape once more in Blumhouse's HALLOWEEN. Not only that, but we also know that stunt performer and actor James Jude Courtney has also been cast to play Myers!

This is truly awesome news as it shows that director David Gordon Green seems to be all about making the film as much of a "true" sequel as he can. I'm all for it! Interesting fact though, Castle is 70 years old… Guess Michael's aged a bit since the last time we saw him, huh?

No word on if Tony Moran (aka the actor who played Myers without the mask for one shot) will be back as well. That would be interesting…

What do you think of Nick Castle coming back as The Shape in the new HALLOWEEN? Sounds good to me! Make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments below or on social media!
