Out There Halloween Mega Tape: WNUF Halloween Special sequel gets title and poster!

Several years ago, director Chris LaMartina brought the world a really cool horror movie called WNUF Halloween Special (buy it HERE), which was made to look like it was a VHS recording of a TV station’s long-lost 1987 Halloween special… a special that had gone terribly wrong. Between segments of a reporter investigating a haunted house, the movie was packed with faux commercials that perfectly captured the feeling of watching commercial TV in the 1980s. WNUF Halloween Special pushed the nostalgia buttons so well, many horror fans make sure to watch it every October. About four years ago, we heard that LaMartina was making a sequel. Now he has unveiled a poster for the sequel, which is titled Out There Halloween Mega Tape – and you can take a look at it at the bottom of this article!

We don’t have a synopsis for Out There Halloween Mega Tape just yet, but here’s the synopsis for WNUF Halloween Special:

Local television personality Frank Stewart leads a group of paranormal investigators including Catholic exorcist, Father Joseph Matheson and the prolific husband-and-wife team Louis and Claire Berger. Together, the experts explore the darkest corners of the supposedly haunted Webber House, trying to prove the existence of the demonic entities within. Did they find the horrific truth or simply put superstitious rumors to rest?

Whatever Out There Halloween Mega Tape happens to be, the poster assures us that it was “assembled from the highest quality source material available. This release is presented just as it was sold via mail order from the Trader Tony’s Tape Dungeon catalog in the 1990s.”

Out There Halloween Mega Tape will be having its world premiere at the Midsummer Scream convention this Friday, so we should be hearing more about it very soon.
