Puppet Master video game adds five characters and two new game modes

There was sad news to share about Evil Dead: The Game, as there won’t be any more content developed for that game… but moving over to a video game inspired by a different long-running horror franchise, there is some very cool news to share about the Puppet Master video game, which is free to play on Steam! An update to that game has brought in five new characters and two new game modes.

Most of the new characters are inspired by Puppet Master 4 and Puppet Master 5. The evil Sutekh is back, the big bad from Puppet Master 4 and 5 has made his way into Puppet Master: The Game. Beware, he is not alone, he has brough his own terrifying troop of little minions that want to play with you! Will you and the Puppets be enough to fight back the demonic forces from the underworld!?

These characters are called the Totem Faction, and they are the Totem Warrior (as seen in the films), the Totem Ravager (a new variation of Totem that was created for the game), the Totem Sutekh, the puppet Mephisto (as seen in Puppet Master II), and a new character called HeadHunter. The details on these characters can be read at the Steam link.

One of the new game modes is called Puppet Master and has the following description: The Puppet Master Game Mode is a mode where One Defending Puppet Faction has to protect a single Human player from an Attacking Puppet Faction. The Human must complete an objective to escape and win. The Defending Puppet Faction wins if the Human Player escapes. The Attacking Puppet Faction wins when the Human Player is killed.

The other new game mode is called Manhunt, and here’s how it works: Manhunt is a mode where 2 Human players have to complete an objective and escape while defending themselves from a team of Attacking Puppets. The Humans must complete an objective to escape to win. The Attacking Puppet Faction wins when the Human Player is killed.

Have you played Puppet Master: The Game, and are you glad to hear that it’s expanding with new characters and game modes? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
