New The Mist trailer gets gory

Stephen King plus new awesome trailers equal AITH's bread and f*cking butter! And I for one am not complaining. We just shared with you guys last week the stunning new trailer for THE DARK TOWER, and then, just this very morning, we shared the amazingly creepy (and kinda sweet, aww) trailer for STEPHEN KING'S IT.

Now, we have the new trailer for Spike TV's upcoming reboot of Stephen King's novella and the Frank Darabont gut-punch THE MIST by way of showrunner Christian Torpe. This new trailer is nastier and gorier than the previous trailer and may possibly even be a bit NSFW. So view with a bit of caution.

Enjoy!

Spike's THE MIST synopsis:

Based on a story by Stephen King, Spike’s THE MIST centers around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

Spike's THE MIST comes to us from showrunner Christian Torpe and stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland (see below), Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Washington, Jr. and Frances Conroy.

The Mist premieres on Spike Thursday, June 22.
