The Wraith (1986) Charlie Sheen – Best Horror Movie You Never Saw

A new episode of our Best Horror Movie You Never Saw video series has just arrived online, and in this one we're talking about one of my all-time favorites, something I have loved since childhood: writer/director Mike Marvin's 1986 film The Wraith – which is coming to Blu-ray on July 20th, so pre-order a copy HERE. While we wait for that release date to come around, check out the video embedded above to hear why this movie is awesome!

Starring Charlie Sheen, Nick Cassavetes, Sherilyn Fenn, Randy Quaid, David Sherrill, Jamie Bozian, Matthew Barry, Clint Howard, Griffin O'Neal, and Chris Nash, with an appearance by Elizabeth Cox of the 1989 slasher Intruder, The Wraith tells the following story:

A high-school hero returns from the dead to take revenge against the psychotic drag racer who killed him. The murdered boy transforms himself into a hi-tech spirit in black leathers and sets out to do battle with a gang of desert-based car thieves led by the man who destroyed him.

Our Best Horror Movie You Never Saw series is

dedicated to highlighting horror films that, for one reason or another, don't get as much love as we think they should. We know plenty of you horror hounds out there will have seen many of the movies we pick, but there will be plenty of you who have not.

This episode was Written by Cody Hamman, Narrated by Shawn Knippleberg, Edited by Dustin Elkin, Produced by John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
