There’s a cost to these things; international trailer for Bridge of Spies

I know we're still a few months off from the release of Steven Spielberg's BRIDGE OF SPIES but I'm already calling this another victory in the Hanks/Spielberg filmography. Espionage, Tom Hanks, courtroom drama, Joel Coen, Ethan Coen, and Steven Spielberg all wrapped up in a great looking period piece; I say bring it on.

A brand new international trailer for BRIDGE OF SPIES has been released, check it out below.

Tom Hanks plays James Donovan, a Brooklyn lawyer who finds himself thrust into the middle of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task of negotiating the release of a captured U-2 pilot. The only unfortunate thing I can think to say about the film is that John Williams will not be scoring it, a first since 1985's THE COLOR PURPLE, as he was dealing with a minor health issue at the time. Thomas Newman was brought on board to replace Williams.

BRIDGE OF SPIES will be released on October 16, 2015.
