Updated: Three new banners for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug; New trailer tomorrow

UPDTED: Two more added (Gandalf and Legolas/Tauriel)

Warner Bros. has been busy today, dropping new banners for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG left and right in preparation for the release of the new trailer tomorrow. The new banners feature Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) and his merry lot of dwarves stuck in some nasty spider webs, Elvenking Thranduil (Lee Pace) sitting upon his Elvish throne, and Bard The Bowman (Luke Evans) taking aim with his trusty weapon. Overall, it's nice to see some promotion trickling out for Peter Jackson's latest journey to Middle Earth.

Take a gander:

I was surprised with the the first film as I was on the opposite side of the fence in terms of expectation (i.e. very low). Seems like a lot of folks who were looking forward to it the most were let down the most, while those of us who expected it to be ho-hum were pleasantly surprised. Not the universal truth, but definitely what I've found amongst many of my fellow movie enthusiasts. The trailer is set to debut tomorrow at 9 am EST, so be sure to check back here to get a peek.

THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG starring Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Lee Pace, Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis, and Billy Connelly enters the dragon's den on December 13, 2013.
