Video for Disney hotel Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is simply stunning

As our search for entertainment that pushes the boundaries increases, a desire for immersive experiences is at the forefront. Why merely watch HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS when you can visit the actual Diagon Alley at Universal Studios? Why cosplay as a Na'vi when you can enter Pandora at Disney World? It certainly beats me recreating Eternia in my garage when according to my wife I'm supposed to be "using it for our cars," whatever that means.

Unless you've been burying your head in the Jundland Wastes of Tatooine, you probably know by now that Disney recently opened a Star Wars Land at both Disney Land and Disney World. Both the Millennium Falcon ride and Rise of the Resistance have been massive successes with fans. However, Star Wars fans have even more awesomeness to look forward to from a galaxy far, far away in the form of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. The two night hotel stay will be the ultimate package for Star Wars fans and Disney just revealed a new video that just boggles the mind in its awesomeness. Check it out:

As a huge Star Wars fan I am just blown away by this. Lightsaber combat training? Check. Windows that look out into space? Check. A personalized transport that drops you right into the park? Check. Interactions with guests that can lead to side quests like an RPG game????!!!!! Big motherf*&ing check. To call this situation a mere hotel is like saying Chewbacca is slightly hairy. It's an understatement the size of a Star Destroyer. This truly is a complete and total immersive experience. I also like the fact that it's only two nights because it makes you appreciate the adventure that much more.

Reservations for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will begin later this year and the site itself launches sometime in 2021. I'm looking forward to personally experiencing Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser…sometime in 2045.

What do you guys think of this? Are you excited at the prospect of a Star Wars themed hotel? How long do you think the backlog will be? Sound off in the comments below!
