Worlds collide in new poster for Stephen King’s The Dark Tower

I don't think I need to go to any great lengths to let you guys know how excited we are about the upcoming feature adaptation of Stephen King's THE DARK TOWER, starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. I mean, you're probably just as excited as we are, if not more.

Well, if all the cool DARK TOWER shite we have shared thus far hasn't made you a fan of this new incarnation of the classic series, then maybe this slick new poster will help out a bit. It features, go figure, the Gunslinger and The Man in Black facing off (with their backs turned) with each other as the world(s) crumble around them.

You can peep the full new poster below, as well as the bitching trailer, and then make sure to let us know how excited you are for THE DARK TOWER on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

THE DARK TOWER film synopsis:

There are other worlds than these. Stephen King's The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world's most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen.  The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O'Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.

THE DARK TOWER is directed by Nikolaj Arcel and stars Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Taylor, Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Katheryn Winnick, and Abbey Lee.
