A high-school loser (DJ Qualls) gets expelled and sent to prison. While there, his cellmate, Luther (Eddie Griffin), gives him some pointers on how to become cool in order to reinvent himself at another school. Everything is going fine until his scheme is busted by a bully from his old school.
