Sabertooth, Omega Red, Maverick, and Deadpool would help make a great Wolverine movie. WIth Blob, Silver Fox, Sabertooth, and John Wraith the movie could go either way. I really enjoyed all 3 X-Films. Yes even the third one. So I have faith the Wolverine movie will be good. |

Where did Blob fit in the Weapon X storyline? Wasn't he just in the circus? Although he should put in Maverick because he was a part of Logan's team. Deadpool would be a nice addition, although it'd work on his own film, who'd be a good choice for him? |

Bear in mind I haven't seen TSOTSI (weren't Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange in that?) and I have no idea how good it is, but for Caruso (who really made a great great film in THE SALTON SEA and got some really big box office with DISTURBIA) and Wiseman (who has a very compelling and kinetic visual style that was displayed in the UNDERWORLD films and really has a good sense of action set pieces), I hope that this guy brings something to the table that could really make this work. And I was reeeeeallly hoping this would be more Claremont/Miller limited series with Logan going all samurai rather than a bunch of evil mutants and evil government agents. Been there, done that. |

This is fantastic news! I was getting worried that Ratner would end up directing this. I haven't had a chance to see Tsotsi yet, but I've heard nothing but great things. Hell, it won a frickin' Oscar! And with all those characters making appearances, this movie is going to kick ass! Can't wait! |

It's always cool when studios find offbeat but solid talent to put behind a popcorn movie. Makes things a bit unpredictable, and that's always better than the alternative (and don't bring up the Hulk because I'm still not entirely convinced that it was a waste, just more arty than fans were comfortable with). |

It looks like we might get our favorite adamantium-clawed mutant in theaters next year after all! The WOLVERINE solo movie now officially has a director, and it's... Gavin Hood?
