1408 Clip

Surprisingly enough, today is the first time a clip from next week’s 1408 has made it’s way online, which is either way admirable or way stupid, depending on how you look at it. Admirable, because it’s nice to see a movie come out without half of it already on the internet in one minute clips, or stupid, because obviously that type of marketing works for one reason or another, getting the name out there and people into seats.

I, for one, like not seeing a gabillion clips for a new movie, if only because I’m a purist, and I want to be completely surprised by everything once I sit down and watch the damned thing- not reminded about all the scenes that I’ve already seen.

Regardless of how you roll, there’s a new clip from 1408 over at Yahoo!Movies, featuring one Samuel L. Jackson and one John Cusack, exchanging words about what’s behind the doors of room 1408. Jackson and Cusack are pimps, and it’s no surprise that they both rock their stuff here. Cool scene? Sure! Enough to change your mind if you weren’t down to see it before? Probably not.
