I’m still a little amazed that Universal Studios was able to beat out Disney for the theme park rights to HARRY POTTER but they did and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be revealed in 2010. Today we’ve got the first official pic of Hogwarts from the new theme park. Hogwarts is expected to house the flagship attraction of the World of Harry Potter, “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey,” one of those interactive type rides that, as the press release puts it, “uses ground-breaking technology to bring the magic, characters and stories of Harry Potter to life.” With the 20-acre park nearing completion, expect to see even more as the months creep closer to opening day.
