We’ve covered some actual roller derby stuff over at Movie Hotties in the past but now we have some a look at the upcoming theatrical version of roller derby. WHIP IT, the Fox Searchlight flick which marks the directorial debut of Drew Barrymore, is set for release later this year and USA Today got a first look at some photos from the film. The project is the first post-JUNO film for Ellen Page who dropped out of the starring role in DRAG ME TO HELL to roll with Barrymore and crew. Also cast in the film are Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis, Zoe Bell and Jimmy Fallon. Check out the pics below and click on any to see the full gallery at USA Today:
