2 Carriers clips/date

Some pretty solid news has come out of the CARRIERS camp, Alex and David Pastor’s PG-13 deadly virus flick (read our main man Arrow’s review HERE). Looks like the flick, despite seeing a (theatrical) release about as limited as a death-row convict, will stock DVD shelves on December 29th, just in time to use those inevitable yuletide gift-cards.

And you thought that was all we had! Shame on you. We’ve also got a pair of badass clips from the flick, which you can fix your interested eyes on below! For those who blinked, you probably missed the rundown of this sucker. It’s as follows:

Four kids are driving through the desert on the way to the beach, their faces anything but cheery: this isn’t Spring Break. They’re trying to outrun the end of the world and each other. In Alex and David Pastor’s CARRIERS, no one is safe from the viral pandemic threatening to wipe out the human race.

Determined to elude the deadly virus, Danny (Lou Taylor Pucci), his brother Brian (Chris Pine), his girlfriend Bobby (Piper Perabo) and Danny’s school friend Kate (Emily VanCamp) speed across the Southwestern U.S. to reach a place of possible safety. Over the course of four days, the group is faced with moral decisions that no human should ever be forced to face. They discover that their greatest enemy is not the microbe attacking humanity, but the darkness within themselves.

In the first clip (entitled “Stay Where You Are”), our foursome in question happen upon an unsavory motorist soliciting gas.

In the much shorter second clip (entitled “I’m Fine”), we see Piper Perabo’s character trying to convince Chris Pine’s character that she is not infected. He’s fixing to leave his girl stranded with nothing more than a half-gallon of water. Marriage material, don’t you think?
