2 join Dead of Night

Word on the street (according to IESB) is that the DYLAN DOG comic book adaptation DEAD OF NIGHT, starring SUPERMAN RETURNS‘s Brandon Routh, just score not one but two new co-stars!

Peter Stormare, character actor extraordinaire (and Satan in CONSTANTINE), and Kurt Angle, a real-life wrestler (below), have joined the cast of NIGHT, which is currently filming in New Orleans. The two will be playing a couple of werewolves in the flick, both of which will (assumingly) be out to get our man Dog… Dylan Dog. And knowing Stormare, his crazy ass will be the head of the werewolves and (possibly) lead baddie… but we’ll see about that.

Stormare and Angle will be seen on the big screen now with the likes of Routh, Sam Huntington, Anita Briem, and Taye Diggs. While I may be unfamiliar with DYLAN DOG, that doesn’t mean I can’t flippin’ wait for DEAD OF NIGHT. Why, you ask? Check out the synopsis and tell me it doesn’t sound cool as f*ck!

The adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans.

Ok, so maybe there’s not much there, but just think about the potential this sucker has to rock! To check out the full scoop, including the names of the werewolves Stormare and Angle will be playing, click HERE, and stick around for more updates on DEAD OF NIGHT as we hear ’em!
