According to The Hollywood Reporter, two more cast members are joining Statham and the previously announced Paddy Considine. Who are they? Aidan Gillen and David Morrissey (pictured), that’s who. No word on exactly what roles they’re be playing, but I can only imagine they’ll star as cops, the target of the serial killer’s obsession.
But you would need to know what this movie’s about first to really get that. BLITZ is about a cop-hating serial killer who targets officers at a South London police station. Which means plenty of London cops as bait, targets, and victims of some raving maniac. Cool shit.
Filming apparently just started over the weekend, though no scheduled release date has been set just yet. We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, just sit back and imagine what it’ll be like once Statham and said serial killer throw down for the final battle. I can only expect it to be nothing but epic.
