Hot off the presses is a pair of startling teaser-clips for Robert A. Masciantonio’s new horror/thriller NEIGHBOR.
The COLD HEARTS director returns to the horror genre ten years after his initial foray, this time setting his tale of terror smack dab in the middle of a snow dappled suburb.
With the simple yet haunting tagline: Fear your Neighbor, Masciantonio’s new outing figures to center on a lovely young lady (America Olivo), who for one reason or another, goes absolutely ape-shit psychotic and decides to maim and torture her male neighbor (Christian Campbell).
By all accounts the flick looks to be an unrepentant bloodbath, one with many wink wink references to horror flicks of yore (in particular Carpenter’s Halloween, as evidenced by an entire on-location shoot in the Pittsburgh suburbs).
Still clinging to a roiled 2009 release, NEIGHBOR also stars Mink Stole, Lauren Rooney, Pete Postiglione, Joe Ansika, Sarah Mc Carron, Amy Rutlege, Giovanna Galdi, Tracy Toth and writer/director Robert A. Masciantonio himself.
If this does see a 2009 release , you can shoot this flick atop my must see along with Lars Von Trier’s ANTICHRIST. I’m seriously pumped for this one, how about you?!?
