It’s crazy how international markets operate. Just yesterday we reported the launching of a website for REC 3, this coming hot on the heels of a moderately successful Spanish opening of REC 2, the highly tracked Paco Plaza/Jaume Balageuro sequel to their low budget shocker REC.
Well, just as REC 3 is forging ahead abroad (purportedly sans Plaza and Balaguero as directors), slow and tantalizingly steady material for REC 2 is still hitting the wire here in the states. In specific, we have a pair of pretty fuc*in’ gnarly shots from the flick depicting what could very well be a rabid infant in the throes of a kill-crazy rampage.
Gotta love it!
With no U.S. date ascertained, REC 2 will make the European rounds through the winter, also hitting Asia and South America in the interim.
