A couple of new stills from WHITEOUT have popped up over at the Warner Bros. press site, and I’ve dragged them along kicking and screaming for your viewing pleasure. Nothing amazing, as you can see, but any new look at Kate Beckinsale is worth a few minutes, I always say. Naturally, I’ll give you a real nice look at Kate below the second image.
Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, is investigating the continent’s first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.
It has been rated R for violence, grisly images, brief strong language and some nudity.
WHITEOUT was directed by Dominic Sena from a script by Jon and Erich Hoeber. The film co-stars Alex O’Loughlin, Gabriel Macht (aka “The Spirit”; pictured above), Columbus Short, Tom Skerritt, and Shawn Doyle. The release date is set for September 11, 2009.
