2012

According to Sony, they’re showing some confidence in Roland Emmerich’s upcoming epic 2012 by pushing its release date from July 10th to November 13th. According to Sony distribution president Rory Bruer, “We love this thing! It’s got everybody’s nipples hard! Seriously, feel’em!

Well, what he actually said was “We’ve had such success with the James Bond films in November that we wanted a big tentpole film in that slot this year. We’ve got so many films in the summer that this is the perfect answer to that.” Pretty ambitious comparison there, Rory.

The film will now go up against Warner Bros. SHERLOCK HOLMES and Fox’s THE TOOTH FAIRY.
