3 new clips from Allen Wolf’s psychological thriller In My Sleep

A month ago we introduced you to Allen Wolf’s psychological thriller IN MY SLEEP, even going so far as to give you a glimpse at the initial trailer and one-sheet for the film. Now that the flick is rapidly approaching its April 23rd L.A. screening (subsequently in N.Y. on April 30th), we’ve got a fresh trio of clips from this sumbitch for your perusal. Below y’all…below!

Written by Wolf himself, IN MY SLEEP picks up when:

Marcus wakes up in the middle of a cemetery half naked and has no idea how he got there. Urgent questions pound inside his head. “Where was I last night? Who was I with?” Marcus suffers from parasomnia, a rare sleep disorder which causes him to do things in his sleep which he cannot remember the next day. His situation takes a horrifying turn when Marcus wakes up covered in blood with a knife at his side. Then, the wife of his best friend is found stabbed to death. Marcus is terrified to put together the pieces, could he have murdered her in his sleep to hide a dark secret between them? His journey to discover the truth ends in a shocking discovery.

Just f*ckin’ beautiful! I can’t tell you how much I enjoy horrific mysteries, ones where we sort of live and learn vicariously through the main character. As shite starts out muddy and confusing, we slowly chip away at discovering the truth, no matter how brutal or fatal it proves to be. MEMENTO is obviously the holy grail of such recent flicks (Scorsese’s SHUTTER ISLAND is another prime example), so if IN MY SLEEP can be half as effective as Nolan or Marty’s seminal mind-f*cks…count me all in!

Philip Winchester plays the tormented lead, with support coming from Tim Draxl, Lacey Chabert, Beth Grant, Abigail Spencer, Kelly Overton, Michael Badalucco, Tony Hale, Kevin Kilner, Amy Aquino, Aidan Mitchell, Michelle Larice, Allan Wasserman, Alexandra Paul and Patrick Labyorteaux.

I’d party with Lacey Chabert in my sleep any day!
