3 Tripper clips!

“It’s Friday the 13Th on acid!” That’s what The Arrow had to say about THE TRIPPER in his review. Needless to say (to most), THE TRIPPER has been praised all around the net, and it’s officially hitting DVD shelves this Tuesday! Well we’ve got a treat for all our readers, AITH scored three clips from the film!

You can follow the links below to check out all the clips in various different formats. The first one, “It’s A Bad Scene”, is all Thomas Jane. Matter of fact, all three clips showcase Mr. Jane. But don’t worry, Thomas Jane is the man so everything’s ok. He definately kills in the scenes below (not literally). In “It’s A Bad Scene”, Jane is approached by a couple of teens (who he assumes are high out of their minds) who want his help in a couple of matters (which he thinks are unimportant pothead ramblings.). This clip also has the beautiful Jamie King involved.

In the second scene, “I Hate Them,” Jane and his partner approach the house of the resident crazy person, with Jane speaking his mind with a couple comments.

And the third clip is my favorite. It’s titled “It’s Reagan,” and once again stars Tom Jane. This time Jane comes upon what looks like the killer’s hideout, and a badass, somewhat gruesome video follows, followed by what looks like a victim of Mr. Reagan’s. The video is pretty ‘trippy’, pun intended of course.

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about (where have you been?), the synopsis for THE TRIPPER is: As a rural Northern California town prepares for the first annual American Free Love Festival, a serial killer roams the woods inflicting preemptive strikes on the hippies who’ve come for the sex, drugs and rock and roll. Sporting a Ronald Reagan mask and leaving trademark jellybeans at his gruesome crime scenes, the killer seems unstoppable! That is, unless he meets an unimpeachable flower child…With a hip soundtrack and a killer cast, THE TRIPPER is a hilarious homage to classic horror – and politics! It’s directed and produced by David Arquette. It was written by Mr. Arquette and Joe Harris. It stars Thomas Jane, Jamie King, Lukas Haas, Jason Mewes, Paul Reubens, Brad Hunt, Ben Gardiner, Paz de la Huerta, and has cameos from David Arquette, Courtney Cox-Arquette, and Balthazar Getty.

It hits DVD shelves this Tuesday, October 23rd. Not only that, but it’s coming out in “The “Impeachable” Unrated Version.”
