30 Days 2 rolling soon

In an interesting development, it seems as though 30 DAYS OF NIGHT 2 (or DARK DAYS), is close to stepping in front of cameras, even though there’s been no cast yet announced.

According to the B.C. Film Commision website, the flick is scheduled to begin filming on OCTOBER 20th, wrapping up on NOVEMBER 24th.

This is verified by an article over at ShockTillYouDrop; the site spoke with Ghost House producer Rob Tapert, who confirms they’re ready to roll on the adaptation of the Steve Niles graphic novel.

Tapert says: “Ben Ketai is up in Vancouver now getting ready to shoot. I think principal photography is coming along in two weeks. It’s a really good script.”

Ketai, you’ll recall, directed the FEARnet shows DEVIL’S TRADE and – fittingly – 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DUST TO DUST. Vicki Sotheran wrote the screenplay. The story follows Stella (Melissa George), as she joins a group of vampire hunters in order to get revenge on Lilith – the vampire responsible for the attack on her Alaska town.

More on this flick as it comes in.
