Showtime’s TRUE BLOOD must be paying off in the ratings as Showtime has ordered a second season of the vampire series. I guess all those ads featuring bottled blood paid off…
According to not only has the series scored a second season, but it has acquired four additional cast members set to be ‘regulars’ in season two. Ready for it?
Mehcad Brooks, Todd Lowe, Deborah Ann Woll (pictured), and Michelle Forbes will be joining the cast, all of which have had guest starring roles in the series thus far. Apparently season one’s series finale will feature all of them to set up the second season–that episode is scheduled to hit later this fall.
For those without cable (like me), we’re gonna have to wait for DVD to check this series out–since they’ve signed on for a second season, I’m guessing the show of forbidden vampire love is pretty damn good–good enough to catch up on when it hits DVD!
