You guys heard of this animated sci-fi flick called METROPIA? Me neither before today, but hey, any flick with Vincent Gallo, Udo Kier, Juliette Lewis (below), Stellan and Alexander Skarsgard is gonna get some love from our demented corner of the sandbox. So before we jack you with a dose of 4 new clips from the film, you might wanna familiarize yourself with Tarik Saleh’s Scandinavian effort via the teaser and trailer we have in our video section.

In the near future, where oil reserves are nearly depleted and Europe is connected by series of underground tunnels. While navigating these tunnels, Roger hears voices, one in particular. Seeking a way to rid himself of the voice only leads Roger deeper into a bizarre conspiracy of control – mind and body.
Voices in the head? Mind and body control? Oil Reserves? I’m already scared!

METROPIA has been steadily making the rounds through Europe, even premiering on DVD tomorrow in Finland (May 5th). When a U.S. release is known, we’ll roll it up for ya!
